We are going to teach you simple steps if your Mi smartTV is not starting. Remember these steps are only for those Televisions which are powering on completely. The LED light below MI logo of your tv must remain on for 5 second or ideal period of time and then off to make this working.
The most common solutions are factory reset of your smart TV if remote control is not working after ideally power on and boot. Generally this problem happens when you turn off your television directly from power supply switch without remote control.
To avoid this problem in any television you must off your television by remote control first and then switch off power supply button.
General Solution
This is common problem for many Mi TV users when it powering on completely but remote doesn’t work. Different settings are there for both infrared and bluetooth remotes. You need to identify which type of device you are using.
Infrared Remote – Disconnect power supply and wait for 25 seconds to discharge all it data and power. Reconnect power supply and press home + Manual buttons together after that power on your television. Your television should start after pressing both buttons for 5 seconds. If not starts then press button below the MI logo of your television screen.
Bluetooth Remote – Disconnect power supply and wait for 25 seconds to discharge all it data and power supply. Reconnect power supply and press OK (found within big round buttons) + back buttons together at same time after that switch on power of your television. Your television should start after pressing both buttons for 5 seconds. If not starts then press button located at bottom side of MI logo or LED light outer side of your television edge.
Manual Start
To start manually power supply system of television must be in correct working condition. To verify it switch on TV, if you see power LED below MI logo stay on for 5 second then power supply is fine.
Now if your TV is not operating from remote then find the button below MI logo or LED light within your TV edge. Keeps it pressing with one finger for 40 seconds and TV will start. If not then repeat above TV factory reset program.
Remote Problem
If you are not able to connect after following above process then change both batteries of your remote device. Still if you’re not able to connect even your TV is on and screen appear then remote is faulty. Call MI customer care to resolve your problem.
Power supply issue
If you’re not able to see LED blinking below MI logo of your screen or it getting deem continues and off then it’s problem in you television’s power supply board.
You will see similar symptoms for motherboards problem or LED light problem too. Call MI customer care.
